Plum Blossoms Dance in Crystal Elegance
The Avaire Plum Artistry whisky glass doesn't ask for attention—it commands it. Inspired by the timeless beauty of plum blossoms—the first flowers to bloom in winter's frost—delicately hand-carved plum branches cascade across pristine crystal, each petal and leaf capturing nature's resilience and grace. The woven wave crown at the top creates an elegant border, while a massive radial starburst at the base anchors the composition with brilliant clarity. This isn't decoration. It's winter's courage carved in glass, designed to turn your nightly pour into something worth pausing for.
Pour your whisky and watch winter bloom—crystal clarity creates diamond-like brilliance, plum branches unfold like nature's calligraphy, delicate petals shimmer with frost-kissed beauty, the woven crown flows like silk ribbon, and whisky becomes liquid amber flowing through an eternal winter garden. Plum blossoms don't wait for spring. They simply bloom, and courage becomes inevitable.

Maintenance Tips
• HAND WASH
To prevent damage to the product, it is recommended to clean individually with warm water and non-abrasive cleaning agents. Do not use a dishwasher, and avoid using hot water.
• DRY AND WIPE
Place the glass on a towel or absorbent kitchen paper to dry it by absorption, or wipe it carefully while holding the body of the glass with your thumb to reduce pressure. Use a lint-free, fine cotton or linen towel. Store the glass back in its box or stand it upright to prevent contact with other glasses.
• STORAGE
Handmade crystal glasses have thin rims, so they should be stored with the opening facing up in a cabinet or their original packaging to avold contact and chipping. Do not hang the glasses by hooks to prevent handle breakage. Store the glasses in a clean and tidy place, with the opening facing up and the caps left open for air circulation.
• MAINTENANCE
Do not leave residue in the glass. Clean promptly after use. Decanters should be washed in warm water with a soft sponge, without detergent. If there is fogging, pour in some coarse salt and half a liter of alcohol. Shake vigorously and rinse with warm water several times. Insert absorbent kitchen paper into the glass for about 10 hours to absorb any remaining moisture.
1.Keep away from open flames.
2.Do not use in ovens or microwaves.
3.Avoid sudden temperature changes.
4.Dishwasher use is not permitted.

The Spirit of Craftsmanship
IN JAPAN, “匠” STANDS FOR THE HIGHEST HONOR OF CRAFTSMANSHIP.
Each piece is created through a meticulous multi-stage process, with every step entrusted to a skilled artisan. By dedicating themselves to their craft, these masters combine their expertise to bring the glass to life.

DATES BACK TO 1834
Edo Kiriko(江戸切子) is a traditional Japanese glass-cutting craft, celebrated for its exceptional craftsmanship and intricate designs. Originating during the Edo period of Japan, around 1834, Edo Kiriko has a history of nearly two centuries. It stands as a remarkable testament to Japan's cultural heritage and the artisans' dedication to perfection.
Phase I
GLASS FORMING
The journey begins with molten glass, typically a two-layered composition featuring a clear core sheathed in a vibrant colored layer. This material is masterfully shaped into its final silhouette through the time-honored techniques of hand-blowing or molding.
Phase II
MARKING (WARIDASHI - 割り出し)
Next, the artisan precisely maps the intricate, geometric design onto the glass surface. This crucial step is performed with meticulous care, using a fine pigment or a specialized tool to lay down the coordinates for the future pattern.
Phase III
ROUGH CUTTING (ARASURI - 荒摺)
The first cuts are made. Using a coarse-grit rotating wheel, the artisan meticulously carves the foundational lines of the design, establishing the deep, definitive outlines that will serve as the pattern's framework.
Phase IV
DETAIL CUTTING (SANBAN - 三番)
This is followed by a phase of exquisite refinement. The same cuts are revisited with a finer-grit wheel, allowing for the precise sharpening of each line and the addition of the delicate, intricate motifs that are the hallmark of traditional Edo Kiriko.
Phase V
STONE SMOOTHING (ISHIGAKE - 石掛け)
The cut surfaces are then meticulously honed. An artisan uses a whetstone and water to gently abrade the glass, eliminating any rough edges left by the cutting process and preparing the surface for its final brilliance.
Phase VI
POLISHING (MIGAKI - 磨き)
The final and most transformative step. The glass is brought to a brilliant, flawless clarity and luminous shine. This critical process reveals the vivid, striking contrast between the vibrant colored layer and the pure clear glass beneath, illuminating the masterfully carved pattern in its full glory.
